An India which loves to share her rich heritage with her guests, and believes in the philosophy ATITHI DEVO BHAVA—Guest is God. In this tour, Visit to a local haveli – the family you visit are Hindu vegetarian; they are old time residents of Shahjahanabad; and this is one of the few homes that hasn’t been broken down or divided into pieces and sold to multiple people. It is a chance to meet four generations staying together and see what life is really like in this narrow crowded part of Old Delhi, where adjacent houses share a common wall, and everyone knows everyone else!.
Haveli is a old-style 4-storied home with a central courtyard flanked by rooms and 58 doors in a haveli, where a homemade complimentary Tea / Breakfast / Lunch/ Dinner ( based on the timings) will be served to you. You can choose to participate in the cooking, or merely watch and learn. You can have a feel of the fresh water using hand pump at the Haveli and can also have a spectacular view of Jama Masjid and the Old Delhi from one of the highest point of Old Delhi from the Haveli.
